Numbers and math symbols

We encounter a lot of numbers in day-to-day life. For example, you tell someone you were born on 03-05-1985. You read a recipe that requires 100 grammes of butter and 60 grammes of flour. You see that you need 4.2 metres of fabric for the back of a quilt, and you hear that there’s a 15% chance of rain. In a nutshell, numbers have an important role to play and we’re always doing sums in our head. I thought it was high time to design a quilt with the numbers and symbols we use in maths.
