The impossible triangle or Penrose triangle was invented in 1934 by the Swedish artist Oscar Reutersvärd, but derives its name from the British mathematician Roger Penrose who also invented and published it in 1958. I’ve impossibly combined it with an impossible rectangle. So, three times impossible!
