Snowflake

A winter quilt that is also perfectly suited as a Christmas quilt. Not to mention, one major advantage of this quilt is that you can use it until spring starts! The design of the block is based on the beautiful shapes of snow crystals when viewing snow under a microscope.

Ioana Scona (inahobbyboutique.nl) came up with the idea of creating a quilt featuring snow crystals. I designed the block and then Ioana coloured the design: a fine collaboration with an excellent result.
