For Françoise and Xander

For many people, a week of skiing is the highlight of their year. The snow-covered mountains, the sun making the snow sparkle, the cheery colours of the skiwear, whizzing downhill and, of course, the fun and delicious food: pure joy.

Françoise’s son Xander trained as an outdoor sports instructor and then became a ski instructor. Especially for him, I designed this cheery, wintery and easy-to-make quilt.
